Job summary

The Learning Experience Enfield is seeking a caring, energetic Teacher to help open a new toddler room. You will create a safe, loving classroom for infants, implement our LEAP Curriculum, and build strong relationships with families through daily updates and photos.

Six months of toddler childcare experience is required, along with an ECE-related degree or a high school diploma/GED. CPR/First Aid and CT licensing compliance are required.

Qualifications

• 6 months of professional childcare or teaching experience with toddlers in a licensed center.
• Associate degree in ECE or related field preferred; High school diploma/GED required.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and infant milestones.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong communication, organizational and classroom management skills.
• Must meet CT state requirements for Early Childhood Teacher.

• Ensure compliance with all state licensing and safety standards.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 6 months of professional childcare or teaching experience (1 year preferred) working with toddlers in a licensed childcare center.
• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field preferred; High school diploma/GED required.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and infant milestones.
• CPR and First Aid certification
• A strong communication, organizational and classroom management
• Must meet all Connecticut state requirements for an Early Childhood Teacher position.
