Job summary

The Learning Experience is hiring a dedicated Teacher in Cheshire, CT. Join our team to create a safe, engaging classroom for infants and to implement our LEAP Curriculum. You will build relationships with families and collaborate with fellow staff to maintain a positive, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of professional childcare or teaching experience
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and infant milestones
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, loving, and engaging classroom environment for infants.

Position: Teacher
Location: The Learning Experience – Cheshire, CT
Pay Rate: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8AM-5PM

• Ensure compliance with all Connecticut state licensing and safety standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 6 months of professional childcare or teaching experience (1 year preferred).
• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field preferred; High school diploma/GED required.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and infant milestones.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• A positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude!
