Job summary

The Learning Experience Enfield is seeking a caring, energetic Teacher to join our team and help our littlest learners explore the world around them.

In this role you will create a safe, loving classroom for infants, implement the LEAP Curriculum to support early learning, and build strong relationships with families through updates and milestones. Candidates should have at least 6 months of experience and an ECE-related degree if possible, with CT licensing adherence.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of professional childcare or teaching experience with infants (1 year preferred).
• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education preferred; high school diploma or GED required.

$17.00 – $20.00 per hour

• Ensure compliance with all state licensing and safety standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 6 months of professional childcare or teaching experience (1 year preferred) working with infants in a licensed childcare center.
• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field preferred; High school diploma/GED required.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and infant milestones.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• A strong communication, organizational and classroom management
• Must meet all Connecticut state requirements for an Early Childhood Teacher position.
