Job summary

The Learning Experience – Cheshire, CT is seeking a caring Teacher to join our team and support our littlest learners. You will create a safe, engaging classroom for infants and implement our L.E.A.P. Curriculum to support early development.

Build strong relationships with families by sharing daily updates, photos, and milestones, and collaborate with fellow educators to maintain a positive workplace. This full-time role offers growth opportunities and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field preferred.
• High school diploma/GED required.

Location: The Learning Experience – Cheshire, CT
Pay Rate: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30am-5:30pm

What You’ll Do

• Create a safe, loving, and engaging classroom environment for infants.
• Implement our fun, hands-on L.E.A.P. Curriculum to support early learning and development.
• Build strong relationships with families by sharing daily updates, photos, and milestones.
• Collaborate with other teachers and center leadership to maintain a positive and supportive workplace.
• Model best practices in early childhood education and help guide assistant teachers in the classroom.
• Ensure compliance with all Connecticut state licensing and safety standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 6 months of professional childcare or teaching experience (1 year preferred).
• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field preferred; High school diploma/GED required.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and infant milestones.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• A positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude!
