Job summary

The Learning Experience Enfield is hiring an Infant Teacher to create a safe, loving classroom and implement the LEAP curriculum. You will build strong relationships with families, share progress with photos and milestones, and collaborate with fellow teachers to maintain a positive environment.

Requirements include 6 months of toddler/infant care experience, an Associate degree in ECE or a high school diploma/GED, CPR/First Aid, and CT state licensing readiness.

Qualifications

• 6 months of professional childcare or teaching experience.
• Associate degree in ECE or related field preferred; High school diploma/GED required.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and infant milestones.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong communication, organizational and classroom management.
• Must meet Connecticut state requirements for an Early Childhood Teacher position.
• A positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.
