Job summary

The Learning Experience Enfield is hiring a caring, energetic Teacher to join our team and help our littlest learners explore the world around them. Create a safe, loving, and engaging classroom for infants while implementing our LEAP Curriculum to support early development.

You will build strong relationships with families by sharing daily updates, photos, and milestones, collaborate with other teachers and center leadership, and model best practices in early childhood education while ensuring

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of professional childcare or teaching experience (1 year preferred).
• Experience with children ages 3-5 years in a licensed childcare center.
• Associate degree in ECE or related field; HS diploma/GED required.

Pay Rate: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 6 months of professional childcare or teaching experience (1 year preferred). Experience working with children ages 3-5 years of age in a licensed childcare center.
• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field preferred; High school diploma/GED required.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and preschool milestones.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Must meet all Connecticut state requirements for an Early Childhood Teacher position.
