Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to maintain a clean, organized store with a customer-first focus. You’ll help customers find and purchase items, operate the register, stock shelves, and assist with displays.

You may lead in theStore Manager's absence and perform duties to maximize profitability and satisfaction. The role requires reliability, strong math skills for transactions, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent walking and lifting up

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Six months supervisory experience or related training preferred.
• Knowledge of cash handling and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership and greet customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to total purchases and give change.
• Stock and rotate merchandise and assist with planograms.
• Clean and maintain store and assist with displays.
• Open and close store under Store Manager direction.
• Perform duties of Sales Associate and assist in absence of managers.
