Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards.
• Supervises hourly food service associates, including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, reviews and disciplinary actions as appropriate.
• Stores food in designated areas following all sanitation procedures.
• Maintains proper food handling, presentation, portion control and serving temperatures.
• Keeps workstation and display equipment clean and free of debris during service.
• Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Explains daily menu items accurately to associates and customers.
• Monitors peak production and service hours.
• Tracks inventory and purchases; informs supervisor when supplies are low.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
