Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time, school-based role in Issaquah, WA, starting ASAP through January 2027. You will work under the supervision of an SLP to support students' communication goals and help them access learning.

This position emphasizes collaboration with teachers, data collection, and adherence to district policies. Eligible candidates should have a Washington SLPA license, complete 100 clinical hours, and be prepared

Qualifications

• Active Washington State Department of Health SLPA license.
• Completion of an SLPA program or a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Completion of 100 clinical hours.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech-language services under the direction and supervision of an SLP.
• Implement therapy activities and interventions outlined by the supervising SLP.
• Support students’ progress toward IEP goals.
• Collect data and maintain accurate service documentation.
• Prepare and organize therapy materials.
• Communicate student progress and observations to the supervising SLP.
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support students’ communication needs.
• Maintain student confidentiality and follow district procedures.
