Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, leave coverage position in Yelm, Washington. The role focuses on developmental preschool students across two locations, with opportunities for collaboration with another SLP.

The candidate will evaluate and treat speech-language needs, develop IEPs, and work closely with teachers and families to support student communication and learning. Flexible team support is offered.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Valid Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Valid Washington Educational Staff Associate certificate or eligibility to obtain one.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations, screenings, and diagnostic assessments.
• Provide individualized and small-group speech and language therapy.
• Develop and implement IEPs with measurable goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers.
