Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, short-term school-based assignment in Issaquah, Washington. You will work with a dedicated team at one elementary building, with a mentor to support collaboration and service delivery.

You’ll assess and treat students under IEPs, prepare evaluations, and coordinate with teachers and families to ensure effective communication outcomes during the 2026–2027 school year.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology completed.
• Active WA SLP license required.
• ESA certification in SLP required.
• Experience with elementary students preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language services to elementary students per IEPs.
• Conduct assessments and contribute to evaluations as needed.
• Develop and implement goals addressing communication needs.
• Track progress and maintain service documentation.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers.
• Participate in IEP meetings and team collaboration.
• Coordinate with SLP mentor for guidance and support.
• Provide compensatory education services during extra hours.
• Coordinate handoff with returning district SLP.
