Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, short-term assignment in Issaquah, Washington. You’ll support students at one elementary building and collaborate with a mentor for guidance and professional growth.

The role involves delivering IEP-aligned services, conducting assessments, setting individualized goals, and documenting progress. You’ll join a dedicated school team focused on developing communication skills that support learning and connection.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• , Active Washington State SLP license.
• ESA certification in speech-language pathology.
• Experience with elementary students preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload and meet service timelines.
• Available through January 8, 2027.
• Complete district onboarding and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language services to elementary students in accordance with IEPs.
• Conduct assessments and contribute to evaluations as needed.
• Develop and implement individualized goals addressing students’ communication needs.
• Track student progress and maintain accurate service documentation.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to support student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings and school team collaboration.
• Coordinate with the SLP mentor for guidance and support.
• Provide compensatory education services during the additional allotted hours.
• Coordinate with the returning district SLP to ensure a smooth transition of services.
