Sylvania in Minnesota is seeking a Secondary Paraeducator to support students and teachers in middle and high school classrooms. The role involves assisting in instructional tasks and supervising students across various departments.

The position is full-time (184 days/6.5 hours per day) with eligibility for insurance benefits for six-hour plus assignments. Strong communication and tech willingness are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be physically working in the building.
• Good communications, interpersonal and recordkeeping skills.
• Ability/desire to work with technology and computers.
• Ability to supervise students and take direction.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support students and teachers in classrooms.
• Work with students individually or in groups to present or reinforce learning concepts.
• Support in departments such as Audio/Visual, Guidance, Hall/Cafeteria Supervision, Study Hall, Media Center, and Testing Support.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
