Job summary

Sylvania is seeking a Secondary Paraeducator to support students and teachers at the high school and middle school levels. The role involves assisting with lesson assignments, supervising in various areas, and performing additional duties as needed.

The position offers multiple pay tiers based on education and experience. Start date is 8/31/26, with insurance benefits for longer assignments. Applicants should be ready to work in the building and adapt to Technology use.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be physically in the building.
• Good communications, interpersonal and recordkeeping skills.
• Ability/desire to work with technology and computers.
• Ability to work cooperatively with students and staff.
• Ability to supervise students.
• Ability to take direction.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
