Job summary

Sylvania is seeking a Paraeducator in Minnesota to support students with disabilities across mainstream, resource, and center-based settings. The role emphasizes assisting instruction, behavior management, and progress documentation to help students reach individual goals.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and complete a paraeducator credential within 30 days, plus relevant coursework or degrees. Position begins after posting period with full-time hours.

Qualifications

Good communication, interpersonal and record-keeping skills.
Ability/desire to work with technology and computers.

Responsibilities

Assists in the instruction of students with disabilities in mainstream, resource room or center-based settings.
Manage behavior by redirecting, calming or removing a disruptive student from the classroom.
Monitor and record student progress in academics and daily living skills.
Assist with students' physical needs including toileting, feeding and self-care as required.
