Job summary

Sylvania is seeking a dedicated Paraeducator Elementary in Minnesota to supervise student areas, assist with noninstructional support, and help maintain a safe, orderly school environment. This part-time role runs 184 days/3 hours per day and offers insurance benefits for positions of 6 hours or more per day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must work in the building and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Good communication, interpersonal and record-keeping skills expected.
• Ability to work with technology and computers and to supervise students.

Responsibilities

• Supervise areas where students gather: hallways, classrooms, playgrounds, bus areas, lunchroom.
• Support teachers/administration with copy room duties and noninstructional tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned (not including student instructional support).
