Job summary

Sylvania is seeking a Paraeducator Elementary in Minnesota for a part-time role (184 days/3 hrs per day). You will supervise student areas, assist with copy-room duties, and support staff—excluding direct instructional support. Start date is 8/31/26, with benefits for 6+ hour assignments.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, be in-building, and possess strong communication and tech skills, along with reliable attendance and the ability to lift 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be physically working in the building.
• Good communications, interpersonal and record-keeping skills.
• Ability/desire to work with technology and computers.
• Ability to work cooperatively with students and staff.
• Ability to supervise students.
• Ability to take direction.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
• Ability to perform position responsibilities including data functions and people functions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise areas where students gather such as hallways, classrooms, playgrounds, bus areas, and lunchroom.
• Support teachers/administration with copy room duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned (not including student instructional support).
