Job summary

Soliant is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a full-time, on-site role in a K-12 school district near San Dimas, CA. This contract position offers an immediate start and the chance to support students’ development in the classroom and beyond.

You will assess students, develop and implement individualized therapy plans, provide direct and consultative OT services, and collaborate with teachers, families, and service providers.

Qualifications

• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in California.
• At least 1 year school-based OT experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of therapy needs for K-12 students.
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough student assessments and interpret findings for educational teams.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
• Provide direct and consultative OT services to students in a K-12 setting.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and service providers to ensure consistent support.
• Document session notes and progress in accordance with school policies; participate in IEP meetings.
• Adapt strategies and interventions to meet diverse learning and physical needs.
