Job summary

Soliant Health in California is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist for the 2026/2027 school year to work with students in a supportive educational setting, delivering direct OT services and promoting participation in learning.

The role requires a California OT license, school experience preferred, IEP knowledge, collaboration with teachers and families, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Valid California Occupational Therapy license.
• Experience in school settings preferred.
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and compliance.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff and families.
• Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct OT services to students on caseload, individually and in groups.
• Assess and document students' functional abilities and therapy needs.
• Develop, implement and monitor customized intervention plans to support academic participation.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on goals and progress.
• Educate school staff and families on strategies to support motor, sensory and self-care needs within classroom environments.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with reporting requirements.
