Job summary

Soliant Health seeks a dedicated School-Based Occupational Therapist to support students in a CA school near Lancaster. This full-time, 40-hour weekly role involves collaborating with educators and families to foster growth and independence through targeted OT services aligned with IEP goals.

You will assess, plan, and implement interventions while maintaining compliant documentation and participating in IEP meetings.

Qualifications

• Licensed occupational therapist with CA eligibility to obtain a license.
• Prior experience in school settings preferred.
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation.
• Ability to provide direct and consultative OT services.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to fostering student independence and participation.

Responsibilities

• Assess students' functional abilities and needs within the school environment.
• Develop and implement individualized OT treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success.
• Maintain accurate records and progress notes per state and district guidelines.
• Participate in IEP meetings and share assessment findings with the team.
• Provide training and resources to educators and parents for ongoing support.
