Job summary

UMH Properties, Inc. is seeking a Full-time Maintenance person for its Chambersburg and Carson's Communities. The role covers groundskeeping, repairs, safety compliance, and operating power tools and heavy equipment.

You will drive community vehicles, inspect areas, log activities, and assist with home installations as needed. The position is non-exempt with overtime and on-call responsibilities. Requirements include a valid driver’s license and experience in home repairs, plumbing, and grounds

Qualifications

• Experience in home repairs, plumbing, grounds maintenance and heavy equipment operation.
• Snow plow experience is preferred.
• Ability to prioritize safety and attend periodic safety trainings.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Drive UMH vehicles to inspect common areas daily.
• Record violations observed during inspections.
• Repair and maintain community-owned homes and lots.
• Maintain community grounds: mowing, weed eating, snow plowing.
• Keep work areas clean, safe and organized; ensure pathways are clear.
