Job summary

Pretium Packaging, L.L.C. is seeking multiple Machine Operators to join our Troy, AL manufacturing team. You will set up and operate plastic molding machines, monitor performance, and perform routine maintenance while inspecting finished products to ensure quality.

You will troubleshoot issues and adjust processes to maintain efficiency and safety in a fast-paced environment. The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, with preferred experience operating molding machines and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience operating plastic molding machines is preferred.
• Strong understanding of plastic manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Mechanical/technical training on packaging, plastics and printing equipment is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate plastic molding machines per established procedures.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Inspect finished products for quality and make adjustments as necessary.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Maintain inventory of raw materials and notify supervisor when replenishment is needed.
• Follow safety protocols and keep work area clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
