Job summary

Pretium Packaging is seeking multiple skilled Machine Operators to join our Troy, AL manufacturing team. You will set up and run plastic molding machines, monitor performance, and perform routine maintenance to ensure product quality and process efficiency.

You will inspect finished goods, troubleshoot issues, and maintain materials inventory while following strict safety guidelines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating plastic molding machines preferred.
• Strong understanding of plastic manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Mechanical training/aptitude and technical training on packaging, plastics and printing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate plastic molding machines according to procedures.
• Monitor machines during operation and make adjustments as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Inspect finished products for quality and adjust as necessary.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Maintain inventory of raw materials and notify supervisor when replenishment is needed.
• Follow safety protocols and keep a clean, organized work area.
