Job summary

Pretium Packaging is seeking a Machine Operator for the 3rd shift (9:45 pm–6:15 am) at our Troy, AL facility. You will set up and operate plastic molding machines, monitor performance, and perform routine maintenance.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic reading of technical drawings, and strong attention to detail. Experience with plastic manufacturing and good problem-solving skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Experience or training with plastic molding machines is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills for a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate plastic molding machines according to procedures.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust as necessary.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal operation.
• Inspect finished products for quality and make adjustments as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during production.
• Maintain inventory and notify supervisor when supplies are low.
• Follow safety protocols and keep a clean, organized workspace.
• Other duties as assigned.
