Job summary

Pretium Packaging is hiring a Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will set up and operate plastic molding machines, monitor performance, and perform routine maintenance to ensure quality products.

The role requires reading technical drawings, strong problem-solving skills, and good communication. We offer growth opportunities in a collaborative plant environment with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience operating plastic molding machines preferred.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Mechanical/technical training in packaging equipment.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate plastic molding machines according to established procedures.
Monitor machines during operation to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as necessary.
Perform routine maintenance tasks on machines to ensure optimal performance.
Inspect finished products for quality and make adjustments as necessary.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during production.
Maintain inventory of raw materials and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
Follow established safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Other duties as assigned.
