Job summary

Pretium Packaging is seeking multiple machine operators for 1st shift in Troy, AL. You will set up and operate plastic molding machines, monitor performance, and inspect finished products to ensure quality.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and, if possible, experience with plastic molding. You will work in a fast-paced environment with strict safety standards and opportunities for growth within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating plastic molding machines (preferred).
• Strong understanding of plastic manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate plastic molding machines according to established procedures.
• Monitor machines during operation to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as necessary.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Inspect finished products for quality and make adjustments as necessary.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during production.
• Maintain inventory of raw materials and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
• Follow established safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Other duties as assigned.
