Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Sunnyvale team in California. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all ages, and you will handle data entry and specimen processing with care.

Minimum qualifications include a California CPT license and a high school diploma; one year of phlebotomy experience and bilingual Spanish/English are preferred. The shift is Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with rotating weekends, and travel to

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
California Phlebotomy license (CPT) required.
Bilingual Spanish and English preferred.
1 year or more phlebotomist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
Process billing information and collect payments when required.
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
Provide superior customer service to all patients.
Travel to additional sites when needed.
