Job summary

Labcorp in Glendora, CA is seeking a Part Time Phlebotomist to perform blood collections, collect specimens for tests, and enter patient data accurately. The role includes travel to additional sites as needed and duties that support patient care and billing processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT).
• 1 year or more of experience as phlebotomist (preferred).
• Current or prior experience at LabCorp.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collecting payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
