Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist at our San Rafael, CA location. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques, collect specimens for tests, enter patient data accurately, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining logs. Travel to additional sites may be required.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, a valid California Phlebotomy License, and 1+ month of phlebotomy experience. Labcorp experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid California State issued Phlebotomy License.
• 1+ months of phlebotomy experience.
• Current or prior experience with Labcorp.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
