Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomy Full Time to join our San Jose, CA team at 2577 Samaritan Drive. Work schedule: Mon through Fri 7:00 am-4:00 pm with rotating Saturdays 7:00 am-12:00 pm.

Responsibilities include blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, specimen collection for drug screens and tests, accurate data entry, billing processing, and maintaining patient logs while delivering compassionate service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT).
• Bilingual with proficiency in Spanish and English.
• Willing to travel to additional sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
