Job summary

WelbeHealth in La Quinta, CA is seeking a Personal Care Assistant (CNA/HHA) to support seniors in a day-center setting. You will provide ADL assistance, help with meals, and coordinate safe escorts to activities and appointments.

Ideal candidates have a CA CNA/HHA or equivalent, at least 1 year of experience with seniors, and are willing to drive within the service area. This full-time role includes a comprehensive benefits package and a competitive base plus bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification of Home Health Aide (HHA) or CNA in California preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience providing personal care to seniors.
• Willing and able to drive to participant locations in the service area.
• CA Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of hire.
• CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care including ADLs to WelbeHealth participants.
• Escort participants and assist with safe transport to appointments.
• Assist with meals, bathing, dressing, grooming and light laundry.
• Monitor vital signs and document findings as instructed.
• Maintain supplies and support the care planning process.
