Job summary

WelbeHealth is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant in Elk Grove, CA to provide hands-on care for seniors in a day-center setting. You will support participants with ADLs, document vitals, and assist with meals, transport, and safety on the floor.

Key requirements include HS diploma, CA HHA/CNA preferred, 1+ year experience with seniors, and CPR/First Aid certification within 180 days. This on-site role includes a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification of Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant in California (CNA) preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience providing personal care to seniors.
• CA Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of hire.
• CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire and maintain certification; preferred at hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care to participants, including escorting, toileting, bathing, dressing, grooming, laundry and lifting as needed.
• Measure and document participants' vital signs as instructed.
• Act as a medical escort when needed for transportation milestones.
• Oversee day center activity to ensure participant safety.
• Assist with meal service and feeding as required.
• Maintain personal care supplies and incontinence items.
