Job summary

WelbeHealth is seeking a Personal Care Assistant to deliver hands-on personal care in our day center. You will support seniors with ADLs, monitor safety, and assist with meals and activities as part of a collaborative IDT environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and California HHA/CNA certification, with CPR/First Aid certification within 180 days. Compensation includes base pay plus bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HHA or CNA certification in California preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification required or preferred within 180 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) to WelbeHealth participants, including escorting, toileting, bathing, dressing, grooming, laundry, and lifting.
• Measure and document participants’ vital signs.
• Act as a medical escort for WelbeHealth transport as needed.
• Oversee day center floor to assure participant safety.
• Assist with meal service and feeding when needed.
• Maintain personal care supplies.
