Job summary

WelbeHealth LLC is seeking a Personal Care Assistant to provide hands-on support to participants in our day center. You will assist with ADLs, escort participants, monitor safety, and help with meals, under the guidance of an interdisciplinary team.

The role requires a high school diploma, CA HHA/CNA preferred, and relevant experience with seniors. Expect a competitive compensation package including base pay plus bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• HHA or CNA certification in CA preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience providing personal care to seniors.
• CA Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of hire.
• CPR and First Aid certifications within 180 days of hire; on hire preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on personal care assistance with ADLs to WelbeHealth participants, including escorting, toileting, bathing, dressing, grooming, laundry, and lifting.
• Measure and document participants’ vital signs as instructed.
• Act as a medical escort when needed, assisting participants with boarding and exiting WelbeHealth transportation.
• Oversee activity on the day center floor to assure participant safety.
• Assist with meal service, ensuring participants receive meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Maintain personal care supplies such as incontinence and grooming items.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Certification of Home Health Aide (HHA) or CNA in California (CA) certification preferred

CA Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of hire

CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire
