Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a full-time Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury, NC. The role covers tray assembly, meal delivery, and patient dining support on 12-hour shifts, with rotating weekends.

Prior food service or dietary aide experience is required. Competitive pay ranges from $17 to $21 per hour, with benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients by helping with menu selections and coordinating with nursing to meet nutritional requirements.
• Assemble meals, deliver trays, and retrieve them at scheduled times.
• Ensure HACCP, HIPAA, and sanitation policies are followed.
• Support dietitians and caregivers in monitoring patient intake and dietary needs.
