Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a PATIENT DINING ASSOCIATE (DIETARY AIDE) for Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center in Huntersville, NC. This full-time role runs 12-hour shifts (6:45 am–6:45 pm) with rotating weekends.

You will assist on the unit by helping patients with menu selections, assembling and delivering meals, and supporting the dietitian team. Qualifying candidates should have food service or customer-service experience, basic computer skills, and the

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, and maneuver/push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Assemble meals and retrieve trays according to each patient’s menu selection in a timely and accurate manner.
• Follow HIPAA, HACCP, and sanitation policies; maintain patient safety and confidentiality.
• Assist dietitians with monitoring patients on special diets as needed.
• Complete daily/weekly/monthly reports and uphold sanitation standards.
