Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) for Novant Health Coastal Carolina Medical Center in Hardeeville, SC. This full-time role offers three 10-hour shifts, rotating weekends, and a pay rate of $16.00 per hour.

Prior food service, line cooking and customer service experience are required. You will assist patients with menu selections, assemble and deliver meals on a timely basis, and help maintain safety, quality and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and maneuver food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for patients with allergies, sensitivities, or dietary restrictions.
• Assemble meals according to each patient’s menu selection and retrieve trays on time.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and sanitation policies.
• Assist dietitians and monitor patients on restricted diets.
• Complete required daily/weekly/monthly reports.
