AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a Hospital Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasound exams, acquire data for radiologist interpretations, and maintain EMR/PACS documentation. The role requires attention to patient comfort, privacy, and accurate reporting within a full-time day-shift schedule.

Candidates should have an associate degree (preferred) and 2+ years in a hospital ultrasound setting, with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ultrasound physics and vascular anatomy.
• Experience with Doppler techniques and cross-sectional imaging.
• Proficient patient communication and documentation in EMR.
• Ability to read, write and speak conversational English; other languages preferred.

Responsabilités

• Explain procedures to patients ensuring comfort and privacy.
• Acquire and analyze ultrasound images for radiologist interpretation.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR and PACS.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Educate patients about the exam and maintain workflow on schedule.
