Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa, FL is seeking a dedicated ultrasound technologist to monitor daily workflow, perform ultrasound imaging across age groups, and support performance improvement efforts. You will train new staff on imaging procedures and ensure high-quality results while following infection control standards.

The role requires proficiency with IDX/Radworks/PACS, a current ultrasound credential, and a minimum of 1 year of hospital or private practice experience.

Qualifications

• High school graduate and completion of approved medical sonography program.
• Technical/vocational schooling in sonography.
• 1+ year of experience in a hospital or private practice setting.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer preferred; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and manages daily workflow, including patient communication and discharge.
• Performs ultrasound imaging exams on patients of all ages.
• Operates imaging equipment and adheres to policies and procedures.
• Educates and trains new technologists and students on imaging procedures.
