Qualifications

• Virginia Pharmacy Tech License is required.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provides care delivery and dispensing under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Fills and delivers medications under supervision.
• Ensures adequate supplies for continuous patient care.
• Triages and escalates questions outside scope of practice as needed.
• Uses appropriate systems to process patient information.
• Maintains quality assurance per departmental and legal requirements.
• Operates pharmacy equipment as required.
• Other duties may be assigned.
