La Paloma Healthcare Center in Oceanside, CA seeks a Staff Occupational Therapist Assistant to assist the Staff Occupational Therapist with resident care and treatment. You will treat residents as directed, ensure timely documentation, and maintain a safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols.

You will participate in rehabilitation meetings, train Restorative Aides, communicate progress to physicians and families, educate residents and caregivers on goals and safety,

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited COTA program is required.
• Proficiency with Net Health and Point Click Care is required.
• Strong documentation and data entry skills are essential.
• Ability to read and interpret policies and procedures.

Responsabilités

• Treat residents as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Complete timely, accurate, and compliant documentation.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control protocols.
• Participate in rehabilitation meetings and team conferences.
• Assist in training Restorative Aides and staff as needed.
• Communicate progress to physicians, nursing staff, and families.
