Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Licsensure as required by State guidelines.
• Certificate in CPR.
• 1 year OTA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy services established by the OT in the patient Plan of Care.
• Deliver services under supervision of an OTR per state guidelines.
• Communicate changes in treatment to the OTR in a timely manner.
• Complete daily notes and assist with progress notes and discharge summaries.
• Submit billing, payroll, and expense documentation promptly.
• Communicate with patients, families, and the rehab team.
• Attend continuing education to stay current on clinical skills.
• Participate in care planning and rehab meetings, and family training.
• Follow facility policies to ensure safety and quality of care.
• Ensure equipment is functional and report any issues.
• Maintain a clean environment and adhere to licensure requirements.
