Job summary

Qualifications

• Working toward an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum two years’ customer-oriented experience; experience with Microsoft Windows troubleshooting, basic networking, and desktop support preferred.
• Mandatory Certifications: A+, Network+, or Security+ (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).
• Knowledge of Windows 11/10/8/7, exposure to Windows Server, Active Directory and network fundamentals, understanding of help desk workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly and professional technical support via phone, remote connection, email and onsite.
• Troubleshoot Microsoft Windows systems, software applications, mobile devices and network connectivity.
• Perform diagnostics and repairs (“bench work”); documenting all repairs in IT ticketing system.
• Supports Windows Server, Active Directory, and network protocols under supervision.
• Assist with VOIP systems and network hardware troubleshooting.
• Consult with staff on technology use and best practices.
• Document service requests and resolutions in the IT ticketing system and elevate issues promptly when needed.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and communication.
• Assist with the creation and maintenance of device (laptop/desktop/mobile) software images.
