Job summary
Unitek Learning is seeking a Nursing Instructor to teach in its LVN program on a part-time, campus basis. The role includes Saturday clinicals and engaging nursing instruction across lectures and clinical rotations.
The ideal candidate is a registered nurse or LVN with current licensure and will stay current with safety regulations, immunizations, and CE requirements. Salary is paid hourly with a strong benefits package and growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse with current licensure in the state of teaching.
- Three years bedside experience as RN/BSN or six years bedside LVN/Associate degree.
- Preferred: current immunizations and Basic Life Support Certification or ACLS.
Responsibilities
- Improve quality of instruction by using varied teaching methods.
- Utilize online activities to enhance course content.
- Review and revise syllabus within program guidelines.
- Submit reports to the Director in a timely manner.
- Maintain student records and assist with data collection.
