Job summary

Unitek College of Nursing is seeking a full-time Vocational Nursing Instructor to join our team. The role includes visiting clinical sites and delivering nursing education through lectures and clinical rotations to support student success.

The ideal candidate holds RN or LVN licensure, with a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of nursing experience or an Associate degree with 5 years of nursing experience, plus current immunizations and BLS.

Qualifications

• Current knowledge of nursing practice and clinical settings.
• Ability to mentor students in classroom, lab and clinical settings.
• Strong communication skills verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Improve quality of instruction using varied teaching methodologies.
• Incorporate online activities to enhance course content.
• Review and revise syllabi and submit program reports on time.
• Maintain student records, attendance, grades, and clinical skills check-offs.
• Stay current with technologies, safety regulations, immunizations and licensure requirements.
• Teach courses and clinical rotations at various times/locations.
• Participate in professional development and committees as assigned.
