Job summary

BayMark Health Services, Inc. in Visalia/Porterville, CA is seeking a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for MAT-focused care at BAART Treatment Centers. Schedule is Mon/Wed/Thu/Fri 5:30 am–2:00 pm in an outpatient setting.

The role involves admitting patients for MAT, conducting histories and physicals, ordering and prescribing methadone or buprenorphine, and supervising dispensing in the absence of the Medical Director. California license and MAT experience required.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in California.
• 1-2 years of addiction medicine/MAT experience.
• Satisfactory drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist in admitting patients for Methadone and Buprenorphine Treatment.
• Obtain a history and physical exam.
• Documentation into the EMR, entering orders for methadone dosing in the EMR or writing a buprenorphine prescription.
• Authorize and supervise dispensing of daily narcotic replacement therapy and other medication by medical staff in the Medical Director's absence.
• Monitor patient dosages in conjunction with the Program Physician/Medical Director, Treatment Center Director, Counselors and Dosing Nurses.
• Other related duties as determined by supervisor

Schedule: Monday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday from 5:30 am to 2:00 pm

Primary Job Function:

• Assist in admitting patients for Methadone and Buprenorphine Treatment.

Salary Range:

Salary ranges from $61.35 to $67.75 an hour.

The salary of the candidate(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, education, specialty and training.
