BAART Treatment Centers in Visalia/Porterville, CA, seeks a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support methadone and buprenorphine treatment programs. The role involves patient history, physical exams, and EMR documentation, with dosing orders and supervision responsibilities as needed.

The position requires CA medical licensure and 1–2 years in addiction medicine/MAT, with compensation in the hourly range of $61.35–$67.75.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of addiction medicine/MAT experience.
• Satisfactory drug screen and background check.

Responsabilités

• Assist in admitting patients for Methadone and Buprenorphine treatment.
• Obtain patient history and perform physical exams.
• Document in EMR and enter methadone dosing orders or buprenorphine prescriptions.
• Authorise and supervise dispensing of daily narcotic replacement therapy when Medical Director is absent.
• Monitor patient dosages with the medical team and dosing nurses.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Schedule: Monday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday from 5:30 am to 2:00 pm

Primary Job Function:

• Assist in admitting patients for Methadone and Buprenorphine Treatment.
• To obtain a history and physical exam.
• Documentation into the EMR, entering orders for methadone dosing in the EMR or writing a buprenorphine prescription
• To authorize and supervise dispensing of daily narcotic replacement therapy and other medication by medical staff in the Medical Director’s absence.
• Consistently monitoring patient dosages in conjunction with the Program Physician/Medical Director, Treatment Center Director, Counselors and Dosing Nurses.
• Other related duties as determined by supervisor

Salary Range:

Salary ranges from $61.35 to $67.75 an hour.

The salary of the candidate(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, education, specialty and training.
