Job summary

BAART Treatment Centers in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant on Market Street to provide MAT and medical services in an outpatient setting.

You will admit patients for methadone and buprenorphine treatment, perform history and physical exams, document in the EMR, and supervise dispensing under the Medical Director. California license and MAT experience are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of addiction medicine and MAT experience required.
• License must be in good standing in California.
• Satisfactory drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Admit patients for Methadone and Buprenorphine treatment.
• Obtain history and perform physical exams.
• Document in EMR and write buprenorphine prescriptions as needed.
• Authorize and supervise dispensing of daily narcotic replacement therapy.
• Monitor patient dosages with Medical Director and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Primary Job Function:

• Assist in admitting patients for Methadone and Buprenorphine Treatment.
• To obtain a history and physical exam.
• Documentation into the EMR, entering orders for methadone dosing in the EMR or writing a buprenorphine prescription
• To authorize and supervise dispensing of daily narcotic replacement therapy and other medication by medical staff in the Medical Director’s absence.
• Consistently monitoring patient dosages in conjunction with the Program Physician/Medical Director, Treatment Center Director, Counselors and Dosing Nurses.
• Other related duties as determined by supervisor

• License must be in good standing in the state of California

Salary Range:

Salary ranges from $64.46 to $75.00 an hour.

The salary of the candidate(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, education, specialty and training.
