ABC Nannies and Domestics, Inc. is seeking a full-time nanny to care for three children near Denver's Botanic Gardens. The role features a Monday–Friday schedule, typical hours 10 a.m.–6 p.m.

or 11 a.m.–7 p.m., with some flexibility for earlier shifts. Live-out position with a long-term commitment starting ASAP. The family values calm, communicative teamwork with mom, occasional travel with the family, and close collaboration with medical professionals for the baby who has a G-tube.

Located at: Denver, near York St. and E. 6th Ave.

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Family is ideally seeking 40 guaranteed hours per week, Monday-Friday, with a typical schedule of 10 a.m.-6 p.m. or 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Some flexibility for earlier shifts is available for the right candidate. Family is also open to 30 guaranteed hours over any three consistent 10-hour weekdays, approximately 7 a.m.-5 p.m. or 8 a.m.-6 p.m.

Live-In / Live-Out: This is a live-out position.

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year.

Children's Ages: Care will be fo children ages 6 years old, almost 3 years old, and approximately 8 weeks old.

About the Children:

• The family's 6-year-old is a thoughtful, curious child who loves pretend play, puzzles and travel. She’s starting kindergarten at a new school just half a mile from home and attends approximately 8:15 a.m.-3:15 p.m.
• Their almost 3-year-old son is silly, cuddly and active. He attends preschool Monday-Friday from approximately 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
• Their 8-week-old son recently spent five weeks in the NICU and has a genetic condition affecting his airway. He currently receives nutrition through a G-tube while continuing to work on bottle feeding and will also participate in PT and OT. The family is still establishing his routines and is happy to guide a capable nanny with strong newborn experience who is comfortable learning his specific care.

About the Family:

• This is a casual, warm and close-knit family who enjoys spending time together, laughing and having fun. Mom describes herself as laid-back, flexible and collaborative.
• Dad travels frequently for work. Their parenting approach emphasizes staying calm, following through and using natural consequences when appropriate.
• Mom stays home and expects childcare to feel like a team effort. Depending on the day, she and the nanny may divide school pickups, stay home with the baby or take all three children to the park together.
• Open communication is especially important. The parents want a nanny who can talk through what’s working, offer thoughtful suggestions and collaborate on the best approach for each child.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

• All standard nanny duties, including attentive care for all three children, preparing children’s meals and snacks, children’s laundry, tidying toys and play spaces, cleaning the kitchen after children’s meals, school transportation, outings and age-appropriate activities.
• Work collaboratively with Mom to divide care throughout the day, particularly around the baby’s needs and the older children’s school drop-offs and pickups.
• A bi-weekly housekeeper handles the family’s general housekeeping.

Travel Requirements:

• Flexibility to travel with the family would be a strong plus. They enjoy mountain trips approximately every 1-2 months, although travel may be less frequent while they navigate the baby’s current medical needs.
• An occasional weekend overnight may also be requested when Dad travels, always with advance notice and additional pay.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

• 3-5+ years of strong professional newborn and infant experience as a nanny is the family’s highest priority.
• Experience caring for multiple children at once and confidently balancing the needs of an infant, preschooler and school-age child is a must-have.
• Previous G-tube experience, experience supporting children with medical needs, or familiarity working alongside PT and OT providers would be a significant plus, but is not required for the right experienced nanny.
• Education requirements are flexible and will be considered based on overall experience and fit.
• The ideal candidate will be calm, capable and confident with newborn care while also enjoying active, playful older children. The family is looking for someone flexible, communicative and collaborative who can comfortably tag-team with Mom, talk through challenges and contribute thoughtful ideas without being overly rigid.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

• The family is offering $35-$40/hour (gross). Annual gross compensation is $72,800-$83,200 based on 40 guaranteed hours per week. For the 30-hour schedule option, annualized gross compensation is $54,600-$62,400.

Benefits and Perks Offered:

• The family is offering two weeks of paid time off, paid sick time, standard federal holidays or more, mileage reimbursement for work-related driving in the nanny’s vehicle, and is open to providing a health insurance stipend.
