Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday–Friday, 40 guaranteed hours per week. Typical hours are 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m., including a 30‑minute lunch break. Hours may be adjusted by mutual agreement.

Live‑In / Live‑Out: This is a live‑out position.

Commitment/Contract Length: Long-term, ideally building a lasting relationship as the family grows.

About the Children:

• The family has arranged newborn care support for the first three months. This role will begin with household support and shift toward infant care as the baby grows and Mom returns to work after her maternity leave.

About the Family:

• These first‑time parents enjoy an active lifestyle and value wellness, travel and a peaceful, organized home. They previously enjoyed a successful two‑year relationship with an executive housekeeper and hope to build another lasting partnership.
• The parents will guide feeding, sleep and daily routines. They appreciate someone who follows their approach, communicates observations and uses sound judgment about when to act independently or ask for input.
• Mom works from a dedicated home office; Dad works outside the home. Household support includes two nearby residences.

About the Pets:

• Family has one small, friendly senior dog. All candidate must be comfortable working in a home with dogs.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life…

Standard Duties:

• All standard nanny duties, including attentive infant care, feeding, diapering, soothing, following sleep routines, age‑appropriate play, bottle preparation and cleaning, child laundry, tidying the nursery and play areas, and preparing meals as the baby grows.
• Family Assistant duties include household laundry, kitchen cleanup, light housekeeping, meal preparation, errands and home organization. Household support will be the initial focus, with priorities adjusting as childcare needs increase.

Travel Requirements:

• Travel is optional. Candidates interested in occasional family travel are welcome.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

• The ideal candidate will be confident caring for young infants, with at least two years of professional infant‑care experience, preferably as an in‑home nanny.
• Knowledge of infant cues, feeding transitions, safe sleep, wake windows and developmental milestones is essential.
• Candidates should be comfortable managing household tasks independently, maintaining organized systems and adjusting priorities as the role evolves.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain or renew before starting, is required.
• Candidates must be willing to meet the family’s applicable vaccination requirements, including flu and Tdap.
• Fluency in spoken and written English is required.
• The family is looking for someone who is warm, calm, punctual and discreet. All candidates should enjoy caring for babies, be comfortable working with parents in and out of the home, have clear communication and a willingness to follow parental direction consistently.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

• The family is offering $35–$45/hour BOE (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $72,800 – $93,600 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

• The family is offering 10 paid vacation days annually to start, increasing with tenure, paid sick days, eight paid U.S. federal holidays, and mileage reimbursement for work‑related driving.
• Family is offering health insurance reimbursement of up to $500/month, a work phone and laptop, and optional travel opportunities!

Required Qualifications
